Hi.

Welcome to #WWBW. I am The Bamb. I love to dress up, eat and workout! Enjoy!

Let's Talk: The Royal Wedding!

Let's Talk: The Royal Wedding!

"Congrats to the newly weds!"

This time yesterday we just managed to pull ourselves away from our tv's, phones or whatever device we were glued to, watching The Royal Wedding. Reportedly, 18 million Britons were tuned in to watch Harry and Meghan tie the knot. Congrats to the newly weds, but yesterday wasn't just about you guys, I was there for the guests and their outfits!

ISSA HIT!

Let's start off with the bride shall we?

1) Meghan Markle

The Wedding Dress

Meghan swept the chapel stairs in a crystal white, custom Givenchy Haute Couture dress designed by the brand's Artistic Director - Claire Waight Keller. I think this dress was simple, delicate and classy just like the bride. Bracelet sleeves because long sleeve dress were sooo 2011 (sorry Kate!) and a boat neckline for those shoulders and collar bone to come through, yes!

And let's not forget that fairytale veil! I love a cathedral length veil, it adds the drama you need as a bride, especially for a minimalist dress such as Meghan's.

Apparently, Meghan requested a flower from each commonwealth country to be embroidered onto her veil...well I guess it added some character.

The Reception Dress

This silk dream of a dress was created by Stella McCartney and worn to part 2 of the Royal Wedding - the reception. Again, Meghan went for a simple, sophisticated dress showing off those sexy shoulders with halter neck neckline and an up-do hairstyle.

2) Amal Clooney

Mrs Clooney came shining through with her butterscotch yellow Stella McCartney dress! Matched perfectly with a yellow fascinator, Mrs Clooney literally looked like a ray of sunshine.

I didn't notice the extra details at first, but the dress has dual tail back extensions for that extra drama and movement and subtle pleating and tucks for accentuating the waistline. Also adding that sweetheart neckline that's giving me Audrey Hepburn vibes! If you ever need to take a body con dress up a few notches, you know what to do.

3) Lady Kitty Spencer

Florals are perfect for weddings in the Spring/Summer seasons.

Lady Kitty attended her cousin's wedding in a rich green, a-line dress designed with hand-painted floral patterns. Accompanying the beautiful dress, a pair of velvet orange shoes with a matching velvet handbag. With such a wide square neck she had the opportunity to overdo it with the neck ice, but opted for a simple necklace. Loves it!

For me, If this the dress was a brighter colour she deffo would've been top of the list...okay second.

4) David Beckham

Quite frankly what Mr. Beckham did yesterday was quite rude. How dare you go to someone else's wedding and stunt like this?!

David Beckham did that in Dior! This three-piece suit consisted of "a charcoal twill morning coat and trousers, a light grey double-breasted waistcoat, a white Egyptian cotton poplin shirt, a grey  silk satin tie and a grey silk satin pocket square" - Dior

DB looked swaggy AF in the sun throwing on them shades. You didn't have to do that to us, David!

5)  Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka looked lovely in lilac as she gave me business-woman/mother-of-the-bride vibes! The everyday 9-5 office skirt suit has been evolved into a chic custom two-piece with a twist by Vivienne Westwood, thanks to the double-breasted, off-shoulder shirt. I think my fave part of it all are the upturned sleeves, it's all in the details!

6) Carole Middleton

The colour of this Catherine Walker ensemble is what made me fall in love with the 'fit. The mint green just brings in fresh vibes, and is perfectly fitting for a spring wedding. The pleated coat dress with the shawl collar is oh, so chic. Also, I'm really feeling the matching headpiece vibes that everyone has going on.

Go Mama Middleton!

ISSA NO FROM ME!

1) Cressida Bonas

Listen, IF YOU ARE ATTENDING YOUR EXES WEDDING YOU NEED TO STUNT! I'm talking David Beckham levels. You need to let everyone know that you used to hit that and you're still that b*tch! I guess you tried to use this dress from Peacocks to stand out but it's not enough. Probs why you're not at the alter babes. BLOOP!

2) Sabrina Dhowre

fullsizeoutput_1b69.jpeg

After upsetting me at The Met Gala (for not sticking to the dress code), it seems she came to upset me again. Firstly, the outfit was too dark for the occasion (not just Sabrina, but VB and others too) and way too simple. It's the Royal Wedding and you've been invited! Secondly, you have to be careful when it comes to Gucci. Too much at once can have you looking tacky and the whole things just screams, "HEY, I'M IN GUCCI! YES I CAN AFFORD IT!"

If you're going to be on Uncle Idris' arms like that, you need to do better sis. Love ya x

3) Pippa Middleton

fullsizeoutput_1b6a.jpeg

I didn't want to put Pippa in the list but I'm really not feeling the godet style dress. I love the colours and floral print though. I just needed you to show off that big bum Pippa!

4) Serena Williams

fullsizeoutput_1b6e.jpeg

Love you Serena, but the PrettyLittleThing dress you had on was just not cutting it for me. The blush pink was beaut and the asymmetrical neckline gave it some edge, but the outfit altogether was too simple and safe.

Well, that's all for The Royal Wedding Fashion Round-up! What did you think of their outfits? Could you have done it better? Let me know!
